Weather Policies

We've learned that there are few things in life we have little or no control over and weather is one of them. Rest assured that we will take every precaution to make certain your child is safe from the elements and well supervised.

Heat

If it's hot - we're lax'n. We are very conscious of the effect of heat on athletes (and camp personnel - especially the directors), so we take numerous shade and water breaks throughout the day. 3 "Shade Tents" will be positioned at various locations within the camp and we will be visited daily by a special heat prevention unit from St. Mary's Hospital to make certain that our players are well hydrated. Water and energy drinks will be available to all campers. Please be certain to equip your child with their own water bottle.

QuickStick Intensive is NOT responsible for sunburn. Please make certain your child has applied sunscreen prior to your departure for camp and is equipped for subsequent applications.

NOTE: Refunds will not be exercised should a parent or camper choose not to attend camp, due to excessive heat.

Rain Guidelines

Should forecasts indicate the threat of showers or thunderstorms or should inclement weather begin our day or visit us mid-day, please call the number listed below to listen to a message left by a member of our staff.

TEAM TRAX: (215) 914-1100 - Team #4657

In the case of thunderstorms/lightning during camp hours, players will be evacuated from the playing fields and housed in the indoor facility at Middletown Park until it has been determined if and when camp will resume. If we are unable to resume camp due to severe weather conditions, an e-mail announcement will be sent to the address provided on your application and you will be instructed to pick up your child at your earliest convenience. If an e-mail address has not been provided, you will be contacted at the cell phone or home phone number(s) provided on your application.

Should you need to speak directly with a camp director, please call (215) 584-2838.
